4 Seasons
Most people associate Greece with a summer holiday only. This is undeserved. Zakynthos has a lot to offer for a successful holiday in every season of the year. Because our houses are equipped with air conditioning that can also heat, our holiday houses can be used comfortably year round.

Winter on Zakynthos
In December, January and February it is winter. It rains relatively often, most of the time with intense but short showers. In this time of the year you can enjoy beautiful cloudy skies and rainbows above the bay. Temperature remains pleasant and it is the ideal period for hiking and exploring the island by car. For the Greeks this is the most quiet time of the year and therefor used to relax, visit friends and family and go out for diner. Many tavernas burn olive wood in huge fireplaces. Very rarely it snows a little in the mountains. For the Zakynthians this is such a special event that they go there en masse to watch it and return with little snowmen on their cars to show they have been there.

Spring on Zakynthos
In March, April and May it is spring. March is the hunting season from which especially migratory birds suffer. It is also the time of Easter, the most important holiday of the year. Lambs are put on the barbecue, people eat, drink, celebrate and go to church. After Easter the tourist season slowly starts. By this time it is already warm, but not unpleasantly hot. It is the ideal period for all sorts of activities like walking, Nordic Walking and biking.

Summer op Zakynthos
June, July and August is the busiest season. The summer is characterised by high(er) temperatures. The sea water is warm and it rarely rains, which makes this time of the year very suitable for a real sun holiday. August is the most busy month of the year. In this month Limni Keriou is visited by large numbers of Italians, many times with an enormous speedboat behind their car, what causes a pleasant liveliness in the village.

Autumn op Zakynthos
Autumn is considered the ideal time of the year for a visit by many. In September and October it is no longer busy and the temperature is somewhat lower. Although the tourist season ends half of October and the island becomes tranquil again, the temperature stays very agreeable for a sun holiday and the sea water is still wonderfully warm. The Greeks are busy with their olive crop, which lasts until after the turn of the year.
